Mike Safley
Mike Safley, an Oregon native, purchased his first five alpacas in 1984. Since then he has served as president of the Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association (AOBA), served on the board of directors of the Alpaca Registry, Inc. and has created, written and edited several industry brochures and books. An accredited alpaca judge, Mike has judged alpaca shows in the United States, Peru, Austrailia, and Canada.

Throughout his travels to Peru, Mike has collected a number of paintings and images -- some of his own photography, and some from unknown Peruvian Artists. His collection captures the essence of Peruvian life, the Indians of Peru and their timeless traditions.
