Margaret Kane
Margaret's paintings invite us to give ourselves over to the enjoyment of her world. Her art is fantastically complex and yet spontaneous, and through her work is a joyful fantasy, there is a keen awareness of sorrow. You can sense that Margaret takes a special kind of delight in life; she can take a dream and make it a reality for you to see.

Margaret was born and raised in England. Her unique vision of the world and life grew in the atmosphere of esthetics and creativity generated by many gifted artists in her family. She won her first national award at age ten and has received numerous awards since.

At fifteen she won scholarship to London School of Arts, and at age eighteen, Margaret came to the USA. Her recognition as an accomplished artist was immediate, resulting in many commissioned works which included a portrait of Clara Clemens, the daughter of Mark Twain.

Her paintings and lithographs are in galleries throughout Europe, Israel and the USA. Her work is in the private collections of many prominent people such as Edward G. Robinson, Barbra Streisand, Cher, Tom Jones, Tokyo Museaum, Japan, and Guggenheim Collection.
