Janice E.S. Offredi Connecticut native and shoreline resident Janice E.S. Offredi credits local seaside vistas as the inspiration and influence for much of her artwork. Her love of the water and early experiences sailing have led her to interpret visual memories through various media including oils, watercolors, mosaics, decoupage, and stained glass. Her fascination with waterside pastimes, including frequent beachcombing trips, has awakened a spiritual connection to the sea that can be shared by many through her artistic expression. These giclee prints have been created to communicate Janice's interpretation of an area that she feels fortunate to call home. Her work often includes angels and children as subject matter that further illustrate her spiritual and mystical interests. Janice is a member of the Guilford Art Center and studied color at Temple University in Philadelphia as part of her formal training. |
