Sarah Churchill I began my artistic career in earnest in March of 2004, following a brief and ill fitting detour into Corporate America. Since then, my narrative and figurative paintings have been seen all around Connecticut at the Star Pin Gallery, Maxís Art Supply, Jacob Marleyís Tavern, The Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Artspace. I have also participated in group exhibitions at the Huntington Gallery and the Bakalar Gallery in Boston, MA. In addition, my portrait work is in several private collections and I most recently finished two commissioned pieces for the Balanced Body Wellness Center of Naugatuck, CT. I am a New England native, raised mostly in Naugatuck, CT where my artistic education began on the blank side of a paper placemat at a restaurant called The Farm Shop. I received my Bachelorís Degree in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, MA, in May of 2002 and have also studied at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, CT. |
